Calie and Alice in Wonderlandby ~RayArtz

This is a bit of fan art showing my appreciation towards Zenescope’s brilliant Return to Wonderland series.

The depiction of this scene is towards the end of Calie’s (girl with black hair) visit to wonderland as her mother Alice (girl with blond hair duh!) is about to send her home.

These few pages probably made me respond emotionally more then it should have. Not that I was crying my eyes out reading it or anything but here you had a mother that wasn’t about to let anything harm her beloved daughter and allow Wonderland to ruin Calie’s mental stability as it has Alice’s.

All work was done in Photoshop CS3 in my trusty Wacom Intuos 3.

The Grimm brothers did not write Alice's Adventures in Wonderland nor Through the Looking Glass. They were written by Lewis Carrol. The Grimms wrote Cinderella, Repunzel, and the Frog Prince.
