depends on the book size really. these sheets have a lot of lines on them but are the same aspect ratio just scalled down from the outer edges. the first 1/4 inch mark inside the bold lines are the bleed edge marks that you need to make sure your art extends beyond. Typical that is where covers and such will be trimmed down too on standard sizes. So basically the very edge of the pillow would be cut out-- if it were for a standard comic cover.
